Just practice and enjoy the journey

Setting personal goals is all well and good. They help define our successes and inform our actions.

Too often, however, we are focused solely on the outcome and forget to enjoy the journey we undertake to get there.

The physical and mental challenges we face and overcome every session in the gym are incredibly uplifting and energising.

You don’t have to always fixate on a new weight or rep target.

You could just enjoy the practice of weightlifting and the process of mastering your form and technique.
